The Ladies I Love and the Things that they Wear

Some Weekend Inspiration...

(This gorgeous coin is my mother's and was passed down from her great grandfather, the cross was recently given to her by a friend)

(This is my mother's ring from high school)

(This belt is CARA New York)

The Final Product...

( Her top is Patterson Kincaid, her skinny jeans are Montaigne., and her shoes are Vanelli)

This is my mom's outfit that she put together (all by herself) the other night to go out for dinner with some friends. As a self-proclaimed non pattern wearer, I was so proud to see that she had taken a risk...even if it was black and white. Not only did my mom look stylish, she also  looked slim, and polished.

Hey Everyone,

I'm starting a new series called, "The Ladies I Love and the Things that they Wear", where I'll feature all of the beautiful and fashionable women in my life, all that have inspired and encouraged me, once a week. I couldn't think of a better way to start the series than with my lovely mother. She has an infinite love for the color black and has now mastered the "look". This is a perfect example of one of her outfits; flowing tunic, skinny jeans, and solid black pumps. She also has amazing jewelry and this coin necklace was actually her grandfather's from Italy - I love jewelry with a story behind it. Basically, she's the perfect kick off to the series and is one to take tips from - mom, thanks for being a part of my post! And ladies, take note!

xoxo,
D
